This year, as a First-Year Senator, I have served as the Vice-Chairs of both Student Living and Internal Affairs (aka Inventory) committees. Through working on both of these, I have gained crucial experience and accomplished numerous things.

Vice-Chair of Student Living Committee

The Student Living Committee is responsible for dining, residential-related matters, and sustainability. Things that have been done this year include:

I have led the initiative of expanding Gender-Inclusive Housing
helped host and judge Midnight Pancake event
sustainable dining hall bag initiative
safe reopening of some dining features this semester
expansion of meal plans for next academic year

Vice-Chair of Internal Affairs

The Internal Affairs Committee is responsible for club inventory and work room organization. Because of Covid, this committee hasn't been as active as it would be in a normal year. Things that have been done this year include:

stocking the club hub work room
organizing and keeping track of club inventory
I am actively working on publishing the current year's passed bills and resolutions on the SGA Engage for the student body to have easy access to

In acknowledging the things that my committees have accomplished, I also acknowledge that this is not a one-person job and could not have happened without my committee members and I working together.
